Sweet romance books

Sweet and wholesome romance love sonnets you may never have read

If you’ve never heard of the Elizabethan poet and courtier, Sir Philip Sydney I would urge you to look him up. He had a short and interesting life and in his time wrote some wonderful love sonnets, a total of 108. Here is a short excerpt from one called Arcadia, and again wonderful inspiration for us as romance authors. He died in battle at the tender age of 31, and in addition to his outpouring of work, he was also a member of parliament for Shrewsbury. So a short life but one filled with many aspects and his work is a huge inspiration and one I call on regulalry.

My true love hath my heart, and I have his,
By just exchange one for the other given:
I hold his dear, and mine he cannot miss;
There never was a bargain better driven.
His heart in me keeps me and him in one

I am currently working on my fourth contemporary romance novel entitled ‘Finding Our Forever’ with our hero and heroine, Beau and Dana. It is set in the rolling fields and pastures of a Texas ranch and is due for release either late this year or early next year. But in the meantime, Sweet Redemption is due out in November and you can find my first two novels here –  Love Song, with Ruby, and Benjamin and Love Is Never Lost, with Ruby and Benjamin. All are or will be available in Kindle Unlimited so if you are subscribed you can read all my contemporary romance novels free.
